TactiFrame Threaded Hook Mount
The hook mount is the connection component that establishes the tool-free interface between TactiFrame corner connectors and carbon fiber poles. Each hook mount threads into a corner connector face on one end and accepts a TactiFrame pole end cap on the other. The end cap threads lock the connection under load without external fasteners.
The hook mount is available in two orientations. The standard hook mount holds the connected pole perpendicular to the connector face. The 45 degree hook mount holds the pole at 45 degrees from the face plane, the interface for diagonal cross-bracing, triangulated support members, and angled mounting platforms. Both variants are mechanically identical in thread specification and pole end cap interface, are interchangeable across all connector faces, and can be mixed within a single connector.
Hook mounts are repositionable within the corner connector: any hook mount can be unscrewed from one face and installed on another without modifying surrounding connections. Four standard hook mounts are included with each corner connector purchase, and a corner connector supports up to six installed hook mounts across its six faces. Additional standard and 45 degree hook mounts are sold individually.
Highlights
- Connection interface. Threads into any face of a TactiFrame corner connector and accepts TactiFrame pole end caps via a threaded lock. Repositionable across all six connector faces.
- Two orientations. Standard holds the pole perpendicular to the connector face. 45 degree holds the pole at 45 degrees for diagonal bracing and angled members. Interchangeable and mixable within one connector.
- Assembly. No tools required for installation or removal. Compatible with all TactiFrame carbon fiber pole end caps.
- Availability. Four standard hook mounts included per corner connector purchase, maximum six per corner connector. Standard and 45 degree mounts sold individually for additional capacity.
- Construction. Precision-machined aluminum, corrosion-resistant.

Standard configuration
A standard cubic frame uses three standard hook mounts per corner connector, one per axis. With four included per connector, one additional interface position is available at each corner for extensions, bracing members, or accessory mounts without additional hardware.
Cross-bracing for large-span frames
8 ft and 10 ft builds with large open bays are subject to lateral racking load. Install 45 degree hook mounts at opposing corners of a frame bay and connect a pole diagonally across the bay. This introduces triangulated rigidity and reduces lateral racking under structural load, without modifying the base frame. Contact TactiFrame for pole length specifications for a given frame size.
Additional 45 degree applications
- Angled equipment mounting platforms and pitched sensor brackets within TactiFrame structures
- Triangulated support members for high-load structural applications
- Non-rectangular and compound-angle frame geometries
When to order additional hook mounts
- More than four active pole connections required at a single corner connector
- All six connector faces in use simultaneously
- Diagonal bracing required (45 degree variant)
- Replacement of a hook mount in an existing structure
